Respite care

At V Healthcare we understand that to be able to take good care of your loved one, you also need to take good care of yourself. Our services range from a sitting service for a couple of hours to 24 hour live-in care.

We offer person centred care and support, so you and your loved one have the service that you want, in the way you both want it. Our reliable, compassionate staff are fully trained, so that you have the peace of mind you need to take that much needed break.

Support/Companionship

Loneliness can have serious effects on a person’s health and we at V Healthcare aim to prevent loneliness through companionship care. At V Healthcare we provide companionship care, this can help you to keep you socially engaged and minimise loneliness. The aim of our companionship services is to ensure that you can lead a happy, healthy, and fulfilling life.

Sleep Over

A member of staff sleeps at your residence for a minimum of eight hours and is on hand if required. This option will suit you if you do not require regular support but feel uncomfortable when you are alone throughout the night. Anxieties and sleep deprivation can soon be improved with a member of staff there to support you. Having that extra night care at home can really help you remain healthy

and happy. If assistance is needed more than twice during the night, this will be considered a waking night.

Waking Night

A member of staff is on duty throughout the night for a minimum of eight hours. This is the best support option if you require assistance several times during the night due to various needs then, this is likely to be the best choice for you. A member of staff is there at your side for the duration of the night, providing a high quality of care.

Live-in Care

Live-in care is when a fully trained carer lives with you in your own home. The live-in carer will be available to meet your needs and help you stay independent and comfortable in your own home. You are matched with a carer who provides the care you need to have a high quality of life.

Begin Your Journey with V Healthcare

If you believe you or your family member would benefit from having care and support at home, the best way forward is for us to come and meet you at your home for an initial care needs assessment consultation. This is where we can discuss your needs and the type of care and support you are looking for as well as establish the trained staff to best suit your needs.
